Eng. Oleg Asenov is a Professor of Computer Networks and Communications and holds a Doctor of Science degree in Informatics and Computer Science from St. Cyril and St. Methodius University of Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria. He also holds a Master’s degree in Automation and Computer Engineering from the Technical University of Gabrovo.
Eng. Asenov has also served as Director of the National Toll Administration within the Road Infrastructure Agency (RIA) in 2019. From July 2019 to May 2021, he was a Member of the Management Board of RIA.
He has held the position of Director of the Institute for Advanced Studies at St. Cyril and St. Methodius University of Veliko Tarnovo, where between 2007 and 2016 he served successively as Expert, Associate Professor, and Full Professor.
At the beginning of his career, Prof. Asenov worked at the Technical University of Gabrovo, where he held the academic positions of Senior Assistant, Principal Assistant, and Associate Professor.
