About me
I studied Civil Engineering at the University of Zilina in Zilina, Slovakia and at AALTO University in Espoo, Finland. During my studies I worked 5 years as a road construction supervisor for one of the biggest construction firms in Slovakia – Doprastav Ltd. Later I worked 2 years for the design company IPOS Ltd., which was mainly focused on designing new motorways, highways and first class roads in Slovakia. In 2002, I established my own design company, Pro Roads Ltd. which focused on road design, parking areas, houses and infrastructure in new residential areas. I received qualifications from SKSI (Slovakian Civil Engineering Association) to evaluate and estimate projects. I participates in an EU project for the University of Zilina – Tunnel Education Center Simulator for tunnel operators in Slovakia. During my studies in Finland I also did research for the Finnish Road Administration on road tunnels in Europe. I also did research on the Risk Management System in Road Tunnels in Slovakia and wrote new guidelines for road tunnel users about traffic safety. Since 2012, I worked as a Country Manager for Roadscanners’ Central Europe branch (RSCE), Prague, Czech Republic. My main tasks are sales, communication with customers, road and bridge survey data collection, ground penetrating radar and laser scanner data analysis, results reporting, market research. I participated in many domestic and international conferences with publications and research results.
